I went with 6 other scooters today from KC down 169 to Chanute, KS and had lunch and then on to Big Brutus at West mineral, KS. The actual ride mileage I logged was 392 miles, but I rode over 30 miles to get to the meeting spot so it was well over 400 for the day.  More Pictures can be found HERE. |

Smorkle you are truly an iron butt, not afraid to take the long trips. The wife and I enjoyed your pictures while having morning coffee. Luckily she has a FB account or they wouldn't have let us in! Your trip reminded me of Toledo where I grew up. One of the local landmarks was "Big Lucas" (Lucas County), a huge crane at the port. We read up on it after perusing your pictures and learned it's being replaced; makes one feel his years. Thanks for the pics, Rich
