I was looking threw the posting about a 12v impact wrench from Harbor Freight. The listing said that it would plug into a cig lighter and I want to remove the cig light and replace it with a positive and neg clamps like you would find on a set of jumpers. Would anyone know of a good site were I can get them I know that most of the stores around were I live doesn't have such a thing. Anyone's idea's are welcome.

Hmmm...comes to mind, one might buy a cheap 'emergency light' and cabbage the wires/clamps off of it? Like all things one really needs in life, you could probably find it at Harbor Freight too. They practically give these things away, so even if it didn't work you surely wouldn't be out much.

www.amazon.com/Extra-Bright-Volt-Incandescent-Light/dp/B0034KP184There ya go...for less than $8, and it comes with both lighter plug and clamps. Can't see how it all hooks up with the bi-cord setup, but you might not have to butcher the cables too badly to make it all work. Might be able to cut the end off of the impact cord, put a couple of pins on it for quick disconnects?

we must remember the Chinese put some form of loctite on the threads and sometimes it's a PITA to get loose.
I can't speak for all the scooter companies but my Bashan didn't seem to have anything on the threads. I made the variator tool and when I went to take it off I braced myself for a fight, put on the 1/2" breaker bar and pushed down and the nut just glided off. I put it back on with loctite blue and 65 lb.ft. of torque as per some instructions I received and its held up fine.
Of course I bought an electric impact gun later and used it to take off the wheel nut when I did my rear tire. What a snap with that.
