METAL TO METAL NOIESES COMING FROM THE SPROCKET SIDE:
1. The culprit here is most likely the Chain Guard. a. Usually the bolt holding the chain guard has come loose or broke and is banging around. If its just loose then put some lock tight on it and tighten it up. If its broke then you have to get it welded. If you decide to get it welded take the existing bracket off and fabricate another bracket at least 1/8 thick. If you notice the bracket is made of very thin metal about 1/16 in thickness. Have a bracket made of at least 1/8 thick metal and have that welded on. b. Another cause of metal to metal noieses again coming from the Chain Guard, is the guard under the rear sprocket is banging on the Axle Tub. In this case just get a long screw driver or something to put in between the guard and Axle tub and bend it up off the Axle. c. Yet another cause of metal to metal noieses, again coming from the Chain Guard, is the guard by the front sprocket is hitting the Chain or hitting the Engine Case. Here find out which one it is and again just bend it so its not making contact with the chain or the case. I hate noieses and rattles and I imagine others want a quieter Trike as well. Alleyoop

I gotta get a tech category up for Trikes Alleyoop! I just realized they have their OWN special woes. I'll do that later today or tomorrow and copy some of this, then you can post tips in there. Thanks, Rich

Rich, That would be great, I think I have run into just about everything that could go wrong on these Trikes. I think the reason is because the 2009 were the very first ones and we got ours very early in 2009. After some of my compliants and them sending me parts the later ones in the year got some of the items I complained about fixed:) I think they ought to give me a 300CC for fixing there crap:) Heck they were asking me for diagrams on how to fix some of the things:) They even asked if they could use me as a tech reference for others imagine that:) Alleyoop
