i have 2 new coils besides the original . all three run power to the red/yellow wire with key on. tested start switch, continuity to ground when button is pressed.

tested start button, continuity to ground at red yellow when start is pushed. second test had 12 volts to green yellow with key and brake on.

sorry, had meter on wrong setting. 11.8 volts on greenyellow when key and brake is on. no continuity to ground at red yellow when start button is pushed. battery has 12.8 volts .

jumped green/yellow to keep power thru harness,and grounded red/yellow to battery negative. bumped brake and it turned over! finally decided to take aguess at it from your expert help and direction. took kill switch apart and found melted contacts inside along side of detent ball !! ordered new switch. to confirm diagnosis i put small screw driver against 2 run contacts and pushed start button , it turned over!! cant wait to install new switch.
