Scooter Bogging and burping stalling below MPH By brndnpnt (Read 713 times)

Last night when I got off the I-10 I noticed that my bike began to to ride strangely. When my speed drops below 40 MPH It wants to slow its self down furthermore when I take off from a stop it sputters burps and bogs till about MPH then it rides smooth and normal.

I am wandering if something go into my carb jets.

Today I disconnected the fuel line just before the carb to see how the gas comes out from the fuel pump while the bike is running. The gas seems to have pressure kinda of a medium trickle.

I am going to do a vale adjustment but I am unsure that it needs it because it idles fine just does not take off like normal as of last night.

I use this to go to work so any help would be awsome

Yes, that is your fuel pump, check to see if the Vacuum line from the pump and the intake are not leaking. If the Vacumm line has a leak you will not have good gas flow to the carb. If the fuel just trickles out when running also check for a clogged filter. If all is good then it is your pump.
