PJ openly discussed his condition and how it affected his life so I think he'd be OK with me posting about it. As many of you know, PJ lived with kidney disease most of his life. I'm not talking about chronic infections or kidney stones. Nope, I'm afraid he went toe to toe with one of the big boys, glomerulonephritis. He never let it get him down and managed to raise a family and ride scooters. He helped out around the forum and eventually asked to be a moderator. That was PJ, hang it out there, ask the crazy admin for a gig, worst that could happen was he'd say no. But I said yes and PJ developed PJ's corner single handed. Last year PJ told me he had to have a second kidney transplant because dialysis just wasn't cutting it anymore with his 10 year old first transplant. Unfortunately the second one wasn't as successful as the first and he struggled through several setbacks, always grinning and always positive. He tried to resume duties with the forum but rigors of this disease finally dragged him down. He wrote me and said I could take him off of the staff. Not a chance buddy boy, PJ (Puddle Jumper) stays on the staff as long as this guy is admin. Maybe he'll come back one day, I told him the cyberdoor was always open for him. I don't need to leave a light on for him, he always shines brightly.
