I want to inspect the CVT on my Magnum and have a question about taking the cover off. I removed all the bolts and thought the cover would pull off easily, but it won't budge using my hands. I'm wondering is there something I need to be aware of before I break out the rubber mallet and start trying to break it free. Like are there guide pins I need to be aware of, or is there gasket sealant that might rip the gasket apart? TIA

There are usually guide pins in there mine has them. On mine one is on top toward the rear and one on the bottom toward the front. They usually put gasket sealant on to hold the gasket onto the case. I have taken my CVT cover off so many times it ripped so I just took it completely off. The CVT is dry any ways and the cover fits snuge against the case so you really don't need it. Take something sharp like a screwdriver and try and pry it off or hit it with a rubber hammer ,it is probably the pins that are holding it tight. Alleyoop
