Aznrider, Hi bud, glad you made it over here. Let me ask this question, when you squeeze the brake handle and turn on the key and hit the starter button does it turn your starter? Or it does start your scoot but just your brake lights are not coming on. Alleyoop

Aznrider, Since your horn, blinkers work when you turn on the key, then you have to do some digging. Here is what Jrryan said to do or look at: Alleyoop
Now if when you turn on the key and have a horn, turn signals and still no brake light then you've got either both brake light switches bad or you have a wire connection that has come loose. When you turn the key on you get 12 volts out of the ignition going down the black wire and one of the places it goes is your brake light switches, it has a one to two way connector which allows the current to be sent to both brake light switches.
On the output of both brake light switches is a yellow/green wire that again ties into a two to one connector that sends the 12 volts to your brake light bulbs....... and your starter solenoid relay.
They do this so you cannot start the scooter without pressing a brake handle for safety.
