Does anyone Know of a decent deal for an Impact Wrench? I don't own an air compressor "yet" so, I assume electric is the way to go. I would like one that plugs into a wall socket not an emergency Cigarette lighter plug. I am looking for something that can remove the variator/ clutch nuts and the rear wheel for future mods on my scoot. This is just a good tool to own in my opinion but, I don,t have an air supply or an Emergency Cigarette lighter plug to use.(not sure of name)

electric might be enough to do the scoot, but it wont be any good for real auto jobs. a small compressor can be had fairly cheap and a good impact is only 90 at harbor freight. they have electric impacts there as well.

Oh, I don't know. I used mine to pull the lug nuts off my wife's car this past fall and her's had last been tightened at a Toyota dealer by air. I used to pull and replace them by hand and this shortened the job by a quite a bit. I bought mine off Amazon.

I have a Harbor Freight 12 volt impact wrench that I have had for at least 6 years now! It has handled every nut and bot from a 1995 Nissan Sentra, a 1995 Chevy Suburban, a 1994 Ford Explorer, a 2000 Ford F-150, a 1995 Isuzu Trooper- and the toughest? A 1954 ex-British Army Humber "Pig"- a 14,000 lb armored vehicle. So working on a little motorscooter? No worries! But watch what bolts you are reinstalling- as you don't want to over-torgue them!
