I have a chance to get a Taizhou Chuanl 50cc scooter for cheap.
Are these the same scooters as the Roketa and Bashans?
Do they have the same motor?
They look slightly different, but i wonder if thats just cosmetic or if it's a completely different engine/carb/frame etc.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hi skooter. This company makes several different models of 50cc scoots. They have both 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines. A picture or at least the model number will help determine what scoot this is.

They are the same people that make Longbo:

That means you should be able to do some wrenching before you buy one. Bashans and Roketa are made by different companies but the parts are all interchangeable. I wouldn't let that keep me from buying it just don't let them gouge you on the price. Rich

I have two 150cc from them , I wish I had been a part of the fourm before I bought them . my greatest advice is , search and find what is called a "PDI" and do it or you will be like me ride a little and wrench alot .I have 2300 clicks on one and 1200 clicks on the other .
