My new jets and air filter came in today was going to install them today, already seen the videos on how to do it. My question is this, there are a bunch of tubes connecting to the air box on my 50cc scoot, they are on the non filter side of the box. Do i just disconnect and hide them? or do i connect them somewhere else when i put the uni filter on?
Also, i am going to put the uni and jets in at the same time. take it for a run, plug test, and put new jets in if its lean/rich. So second question, if i put an #85 jet on my 50cc and its still too lean, how would i adjust for that? i only bought #85 and #80

Drill/dremel the head of the screw off. Then when you get the bowl out of the way you can put some vicegrips on whats left of it to screw it out.

Bdub, What you don't know your own strength (HEHE). They do not have to be in tight as heck, Just screw them in and snuge tighten them. Try a tiney screw with a point that just barely goes into the broken piece and screw it in just a little and then try unscrewing it back out. Hopefully the broken piece inside will also unscrew out. Haha, guess not, thanks for the screw idea alleyoop. Well got the jet piece out, i finally got it put back together, and it won't start. Tried starting with the fuel line off (before the filter, after the petcock) and no gas came out. Any ideas?

got it running, thanks again for the help. Sorry if i post a lot of questions, i'm a step by step kinda person. On that note, i installed an #80 jet, haven't put on the uni air filter yet. My question is this, what part of the plug changes color after running it? or should i go ahead and just put it on and then check?

The electrode changes color that is the part that is white when new in the center of the the plug. If it is running good it should turn a little tan, if stays white like new it is LEAN. Alleyoop
