Hey all. I was hoping you could help a new guy out.
My wife's 250cc Lance was running fine after coming out of storage, but yesterday developed a strange issue:
The starter will not shut off. I'm perplexed though..even after searching here,
Where IS the starter on this thing, or could it just be the switch? How do I tell?
I'm fair with fuel and drive systems but not so much with electrical.
If it helps at all, the battery is due for replacement, but after charging seems to turn the scoot over easily.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I THINK I have it figured out..sort of anyway. I went following wires, and located what I believe is the CDI unit under the right rear panel. I pulled then reattached all nearby connectors, and viola! Problem gone. SO..not sure that means it was wet/dirty/corroded connectors alone, or if the CDI is going?
Anyone have any thoughts?

Make sure there is not a short across the solenoid.
