I found the chrome wire looms at Pepboys, So far they are the only ones I've found them other then online stores. Here's a link to one of those places. Was going to order from them when i decided to stop in to Pepboys looking for some motorcycle oil and found the looms there. cableorganizer.com/convoshield/

I was just curious how you did the paint job. I have a 150cc VIP and I am looking at repainting it since the stickers are under the clear coat. I have read the how to on the website but wanted more insight into more specific details. Scooter looks good though

I was just curious how you did the paint job. I have a 150cc VIP and I am looking at repainting it since the stickers are under the clear coat. I have read the how to on the website but wanted more insight into more specific details. Scooter looks good though I wanted to just pull the stickers off and be done with it, but like you said they are under the clear coat. So why it was torn down for the rebuild, I took a razor blade and started to pull up one side of the sticker one at a time and just slowly worked and scraped them off. After all the stickers were off. I took my air palm sander with 100 grit paper and removed all the clear coat and paint from the panels. Then moved up in grit all the way to 4000 wet sand to smooth the panels. A quick coat of Dupli-color sand able primer and let sit for 2 days. Another sanding with 6000 grit wet sand paper. Then 3 coats of Krylon gloss black rattle can paint. Once i figure out what design and additional color i want on her i will cover it with PPG clear from my air gun. All in all it took bout a week to get the paint on.
