evilshade- I'm very interested in what you do to achieve this kind of speed- I too am chasing speed in mine. I hope you put-up detailed posts so that I can follow and possibly imitate the upgrades that you do. thank you.

Good luck on 70mph What do plan on doing first??? I would suggest letting the engine break in BEFORE any mods. Just my .002

Well We have done performance in the past and achieved the 70 mph mark. first step is to let it break in that is correct. next big bore kit. use the 50 cc original head that came off the bike for higher compression but mill it down and port the valves. next we go with a performance cam and timing chain...then of course adjust the valves but that's regular maintenance anyways! we go to the stater and do some timing mods there witch are our secret. 150cc carb now that it can handle it, slap a cold air intake on it. Mrp Exhaust of course..performance cdi to take out the rev limiter. Performance coil from mrp, Dr. Pully 4 gram sliders!! Kevlar belt. Performance clutch spring and bell. Of course its a project and with all projects u have to do a lot of adjusting here and there! Might wanna upgrade the rubber where it meets the road lol Oh and we use 10w-40 castrol full synthetic oil...if anyone else has anymore tips i'd appreciate it!

Well that about covers it The only thing I can think of is port matching and a paint job. Have fun, Keep us posted, and take lots of pics. I still wanna see 70mph on a 4T and am curious about these timing secrets.
