Rant here!I have become aware that Wildfire is not the most popular bike on the block, especially after running an add for over a month. Reasons for keeping Wildfire: Advertized it c. list. Its the larger bike, bigger tires better rims, more comfortable seat, windshield, fog lights daytime running lamp GPS, tuned variator trunk, oil changed all the time, new tire valves, 4 way flashers and super clean. Most inquiries tell me " Thats what it cost new!, My response, Really, go buy two for $800.00 each Ill pay you a grand for the second. Off bike subject I sold my van Monday gave the guy a great deal, nerxt thing he was wanting my other truck, countered his $ 2500.00 offer with $60,000.00. Guess thats what I will do with the next scooter searching idiots.

I see that the Wildfire website has only one scooter model and one scooter/motorcycle listed.
No one will ever pay retail for a vehicle sold by an individual. New vehicle buyers take an immediate depreciation hit when they "drive it off the lot". No matter what one does to fix or improve a vehicle, there will never be a return on investment for repairs. Buyers don't care what you've done to it; all they care about is the current running, cosmetic condition, and can they get a better deal somewhere else. If you want to sell a vehicle (or anything else for that matter) you must take market condition into consideration.

Wildfires are nice, my Sister in law has one and it's got some nice touches and a solid build. Turtle8 is right though, buyers look at the Kelly Blue Book and then knock a chunk off. When you put some TLC into a vehicle and then develop a real affection for it, you're insulted by the offers. I'm just going to start a scooter museum and charge admission.

I took a real hit when I sold my Znen. I watched CL ads and saw many 150cc scooters for new-in-the-crate prices that weren't moving. I priced it below that and sold it within a week. I got just over half of what I paid at a brick and mortar store.

Econimics : Guns & Butter and the relationship between. 2. Go to the Grocery store can of coffee, 6 to 8 bucks beginning of the year now 12 to 15 bucks. All of this market driven, nope, all of this the rules of supply and demand, nope, its all because costs are now higher bad coffee growing lately and everyone has a right to profit. Choose to dump a bike because you were offered what the buyer wanted to pay, sorry. The used prices are down because we allow them to be. With new prices going up it makes sense to stop being Nice Guy and sell it for what its worth. Supply and demand? A lot more new than used out there.

What ever the reason selling prices are where they are, any given item is only worth what someone will pay. If you can find someone to pay your price, that's great, but you may be waiting a while.
