Way to calibrate speedometer? By skytex (Read 2,700 times)

Title says it all. Is there a way to calibrate the speedometer on these icebears?

Mine is mechanical and is very accurate, but in the bright sunlight I could not see it clearly so I put numbers on the outside from 0-6 and can now see what my speed is at a glance. You could do the same thing to indicate your real speed. Some have taken the plastic cover and put the numbers right on the dial. The digitals are off like 8 mph to high, Wildman found that out on his -11 trike.

no but here is an addon that mounts to handlebars. adds tach water temp clock and the speedo is completele adjustable.. Mine gets here tues because of holiday.. gonna put it on my Magnum..

The Magnum is only 4 miles off....easy to get used to.....

mike mine is 10-15 off.
i got it up to 55 on one of my checkouts(GPS Speed) and speedo said 74.....
this one is fully setable so get dead on with GPS..


plus like i said it gives ya a bar graph and numbers Tachometer to boot.

I have seen them at the ATV sop here. Yoou know in the day time I can not read the GPS sun is to bright I have to listen to the thing for my turns....I was thinking of one but worried I could not read it. Am going to get a tach tach but will be with the round gage and the hand so I can read it easly.
