OK DOC Jrr or who ever
As some of you know & those of you who didn't know, I have been involved w/ the testing of the Endrigo Racing Cylinder Head - STAGE 1 KIT through Buggy Parts NW, thanks to alleyoop...
To start w/ in appreciation to Mike at Buggy Parts NW who supplied the Stage 1 Head Kit to me & alleyoop who gave up his opportunity to test this kit & recommended me to Mike... Thank You Guy's for the opportunity to be involved in the testing of this fine product...
I know the suspense has been just killing some of you...
I installed the stage 1 test head kit on my 2010 Ice Bear PST150-11 Trike.. My fist impression of this head was vary, vary high, the Endrigo's, in my opinion did an exceptional job reworking the valve train.. The Valve Guides to Valve Stems clearances were perfect, unlike the stock head... The head decking also vary nice, & intake & exhaust ports were nice & clean & open, w/ mated intake manifold (ported)... Included necessary gaskets & come w/ straight forward bolt on instruction & live phone support... In my opinion, this Bolt On Endrigo Racing Cylinder Head - STAGE 1 KIT, is well worth the price tag for 3 REASONS 1: The High Quality Work Man Ship of this Head, 2: The Installation Instruction Sheet which is worth as much as the kit it's self, these installation instructions has vary valuable setup information that enhances this vary superior product... 3: Live Phone Support, which also holds value..
Unfortunately for the info some of you are really waiting for, POWER, TOP SPEED, & GAS MILEAGE, I can't give a fair opinion on... I feel I have to be fair to the Endrigo's & to Mike at Buggy Parts NW... Having said that, the reason I can't give a fair opinion as to the performance of this Stage 1 Head Kit, I blame on the machine I installed the kit on, due to weight of this trike 400 lb + my 260 lb, also for the simple reason the engine in these trike are according to Ice Bear are classified as GY7 buggy / go cart type engine, which already has vary high low end torque, & the gas mileage in my opinion is so poor that this stage 1 kit would have to perform miracles.. So I feel that my machine does not do justice for the Stage 1 Endrigo Racing Cylinder Head... & due to the unfortunate destruction of the final drive unit, my testing came to an abrupt end....
But to sum it all up into a nut shell, I feel I chose the wrong machine for this test subject, but I do feel that the Endrigo Racing Cylinder Head is Worthy & priced right... You may ask, would I, myself pay the price for the Endrigo Racing Cylinder Head kits?? & the answer is YES, & would vary much like to in the vary near future..
At this moment I'm working on a different machine for my next personal test subject, which is a 2008 Longbo Alien 150cc, that I'm modding moderately but w/ stock head, & using Endrigo's setup procedures, to get the highest performance possible, highest top speed possible, & highest economy possible... Then I will purchase the Endrigo Racing Cylinder Head - stage 1 or stage 2 kit just because of the quality & support...
& No I was not nor am I being paid in any way, for anything stated here in this thread, this just how strongly I feel about this product that's being offered to the Cycling, ATV, Buggy, & Carting World...
& Again THANKS to those who made this opportunity possible for me, it's been fun & an experience..
