My fellow scooterist I have a mission For everyone! Start saving your soda tabs for me.Each tab is one minute on a dialysis machine for someone in need. Also Ronald McDonald House is another you can send to and many more charities can use the money. I know know it sounds a looks simple but the $$$ adds up. Check with your local charities to see where you drop them off. My last word about this is that it is SIMPLE to do... PJ

I have been giving my soda/beer tops to a coworker for the last few years. (I recycle the cans for the cash anyway) I think he donates them to Ronald Mcdonald house or something like that. Could You really use em If I sent them your way instead PJ?? I got a couple of ziploc bags full right now. Since were at it, Save your soup can labels and box tops too. Not really related to PJ but, Schools can use them to get supplies for the students. I'm not sure how that works but I give mine to the neighbors and there kids can use them instead of going in the trash. Sorry for the Hijacking!!

No problem Bong and you weren't. PJ, can you give any details as to how that program works. I have people asking on 3 forums and I'm trying to find the answers. I'm looking on-line but not finding much.
Oh yeah, did you think I was going to limit the number of forums I put the word out on??? Sorry Rich if that is against this forums rules somehow. I wasn't trying to break rules, only help a member anyway I can.

I talked to my social worker today and she said to take the tabs to a recycler then take the money and either donate to the National Kidney Foundation online or visit a local dialysis center and donate it to them. Most centers have a kidney fund that helps with patients who need meds or a ride home ect.... The other thing is to donate them to the Ronald Mcdonald house they can help the families with housing while there loved one's are in the hospital. You can also donate the monies that are collected send it to the nearest hospital that has a kidney program. Most univerities have a pre and post transplant program and they would be more than glad to help. I'll keep on posting more information as time goes. Thanks for all the help everyone!!!! 8)
