Me and my wife were out for a ride. The Mp-250A-JCL Roketa she was riding was running good. She was running 65MPH all of a sudden the scooter lost power. It would only run 45. we pulled over , it idled smooth but had no power. It cranked right. Still no power. There is no water in the oil. Antone got any ideas. Thanks Paul

Check for any loose hoses that may have come off. Also check for any Vacumm leaks from the Vacumm hoses. You can usually check for leaks by using either soapy water or just water in a spray bottle and spray individual areas, like around the clamps that hold the carb and Intake manifold around the Air Filter etc.. You do this when it is IDLEING and if the IDLE changes when spraying you found a leak. Alleyoop

If you don't find any problems with the vac lines as in a leak as alleyoop suggested, you may have sucked a small bit of trash into the main jet....... Just a thought.

I found a vacuum leak at the carb i thought but was not the problem. I sprayed water on vacuum lines no difference. there are 4 places fore hoses on carb one is fuel in next is at the bottom of the float bowel . There are two right together with nothing on them. I looked at the vacuum line chart .I shows them to be the #2 both going to intake. There is no place there for the hose to hook.I pulled the plug it is dark brown a little black with some red on it. I think the carb needs to be jetted.I'm taking the variate r apart . What weights and parts should i use? We are on flat ground hear in fl. It ran good till it started slowing down. It still runs good up to 45 but that is wide open. Thank for y'all s help Paul I'm going on and do everything while i have the plastics off. Any help will be appreciated!!!!

It may just be the Rollers are really flat and not moving out to push the Variator. A lot of people are running anywhere from 13s or 14s. If you have a digital scale weigh one of the best ones that you find and see what it weighs. It will be lower than what it is supposed to be example: If they are 14s one will weigh like 13.? because of the flat spots. If you do not have a digital gram scale take one to the post office and they will weigh it for you. Alleyoop

You are the man . Thank you! I'm used to working on Harley s. It sure looks like it going to be a lot of work to keep this thing up. My wife loves this scooter. It is really nice to see the help y'all are giving people. It looks like you could put the better parts off a Yamaha or Honda and they would last longer. Thanks Paul!!!!!!!!
