I had always wondered what would happen if you clicked on the "buy" button on those Roketa.com pages detailing parts. So I did today and it asked me to register. I really didn't think the site would let me do so but after a short process I was an official member.....of something, I'm not sure what. But apparently if I can figure out the order process I can get parts directly from Roketa. The last part hasn't happened yet, I'll let y'all know if I do. Anybody else game? Buk buk?  Rich

I did notice their prices are high for parts. I get my parts directly from IB and if I order say the engine it is $441 plus $85.00 shipping. Fenders for mine are $32.00 from IB and look at Rocketa they want $65.00. And the reason is Roketa gets their parts and Trikes FROM IB Alleyoop |

Rich The registration is only a formality. You can buy any parts but they will not sell complete scoots except to dealers. I bought some parts last month from them and the price was reasonable with fast shipping. There was a couple of small items missing. I called the toll free number and had the parts in 3 days. I would do business with them again. They do have parts which are almost impossible to find elsewhere. |

Well Alley, I was right, a brain fart. Cruiser, that's great to know, a lot of folks find the part they want on that site. Now we can tell them to write down the part and call the number. It makes sense, it's Goldenvale/Roketa, they're a for profit corporation. Rich

Click on this link and it will take you to JCLUSA.com's contact page. I don't know which number you should call but I'm sure one of them can point you in the right direction. The link from jimbo shows exactly the same parts as the link you first posted. Even the same picture. Did you notice the the prices of the parts? Roketa prices are 50% cheaper than JCL. I have recently purchased things online with Roketa a couple of weeks ago. If you are interested in talking to someone directly, their number is 1-800-520-9811. Just curious why you might want to pay 50% more for the same parts? For instance, the complete plastics package from Roketa is $355 while it would cost $700 from JCL. The body parts are interchangeable between Roketa and Jonway for this body style. |

i ll try and call after the holiday!, and just a quick question.. my battery keeps draining out of power, its brand new, after 2 days of of installing it scoot wont start so i had to jump it, went back to the store gave me a new 1, and now after the third day its doing the same thing.. any ideas?? and you guys are awesome.the links took me straight to what i was looking for ... ;p

I'll tell you guys, I'm stuck inside because of this damn tropical storm and I'm getting a little frazzled. This was not the vacation I planned.
On to your battery Rachel, if you've put a new one in more than once and it still won't hold a charge it's probably the charging system. Get a multimeter and touch it to the battery while someone gooses the RPMs up some. The voltage should read around 13v DC to 14.5V DC. If you're down around 12 or lower you have a charging problem. If you need further tech help on this or anything else just post it in the Clinic section. Rich
