Looking for the location of the fuel filter/s on a PST150-11 trike.
Oh on a side note, can anyone link to a K&N filter for these? The one I ordered isn't what I think I wan't.... it's a mesh bag is what it looks like with elastic on one end.

Ok guess I dunno what I'm looking for. Only thing I see that should be in line with the fuel system is a round metal device with what looks to be one input from the fuel tank and two out going to the carb. I'm guessing fuel pump? If so should the filter be further under the trike? What should I be looking for?

This is what a fuel filter would look like, some are all white. It could be that the Fuel Filter is between the tank and the Fuel Pump. By the way Where is your Tank ABOVE the CARB or BELOW the CARB? If the Tank is BELOW the Carb you have a FUEL PUMP to pump the fuel UP TO THE CARB. If the Tank is ABOVE the CARB you have a PETCOCK and it is a Gravity Feed System. Alleyoop Here is the Fuel FIlter: Here is a FUEL PUMP:

Yes that looks like my fuel pump. The tank is below the carb.

You can pick one up at a lawnmower shop, Ace usually has parts for lawnmovers as well. Just do not get one for a car they are to big. Alleyoop

Ok so I found the filter. What a son of a bitch to get to! Had to pull my right side plastic off to get to it. Still can't get it off. Putting a new one in will be an SOB too as the line from the tank to the filter is difficult to get to unless i take more plastic off and that'd be even more trouble.

Do yourself a favor and get a longer piece of Fuel Hose and take the Fuel Filter and put it in between the Fuel Pump and Carb about 1 foot away from the Carb. That is where I have my Fuel Filter. I have it so I can change it without taking anything off. It will hang in front and a little higher than your CVT Air Intake. You can once in a while check it to see if it is dirty. Alleyoop

I was fixin to change mine also, and located it, barely. What panels do I have to take off to get to that thing?

Take the LEFT BOTTOM PANEL under the FOOTBOARD off that is All. You will be able to get to the tank, Fuel pump Filter and change it all from there. And with that off you will be able to also adjust your Valves that is how I do it. Alleyoop

I completely agree with AL. I replaced all the fuel line hoses on my Magnum and placed the filter lower down and closer to the carb. It's easy to check and replace. In addition I put a small wattage electric fuel pump with a fuel PSI adjuster. I turn it to zero when I'm parked at locations that someone might steal it. That way they can still get it cranked but unless they know where the adjustment for PSI is they will quickly run out of fuel to the carb. If you own a Magnum 300 (and probably others) do yourself a favor and change all the fuel lines to American hoses and fuel filter.
