I finally let someone else ride my scooter to help me find a clunking sound, found it. But in the process I noticed that after a high speed run and you slow down the engine smoked blue pretty bad. At idle before this and normal riding it does not do it. Now all my years being an auto mechanic would lead me to believe it is oil is getting past the piston rings or leaky valves. But I have never heard of it happening just after a high speed run, it should happen all the time. What do you guys and gals think? I was going to wait until next spring to do the BBK but I may have to push my plans up a bit. Thanks in advance.

There's a quirky thing with GY6s, high speed runs, and crankcase pressure that blows oil past the rings or valves if they're bad. I'd run a compression test just to be sure but I think it's a done deal. So what was the clunking sound? Rich

Darn this effin scooter is quickly draining my vacation money. I might as well do the EFI and turbo and just forget about going to Fiji this year. The clunking sound was a loose trunk mount.
