Hello everyone. My name is Sam. I bought a Dazon Diamondback 50cc back about 3 years ago. I did not know a lot about scooters at that time. I bought it new and if I remember correct paid around $650/750 as a clearance item @ a local Gander Mountain. It seemed like a cheap entry expense into scooters. The CD manual was not a whole lot of help in knowing much so been learning as I go. I assumed keeping the oil changed and a little preventive maintenance here and there maybe no major problems will happen. Been lucky so far, but, the thought of where the heck do I find parts if I need them lingered in the back of my mind. Searching the Internet lead me to some good on-line parts suppliers, they lead me here and I thought I join in. I not have a lot to offer and most times find my answers searching solved threads, so, I may be a little quiet. I do want to share pictures as I do little mods and will try to do that from time to time. My scooter pretty much stock and not sure it the best color. In time I want to give the engine a little more ump and maybe make a small trailer. For the time being I use bungee cords and a milk crate to haul most items. This been a dependable scoot and I am very pleased when I fill up the gas tank, much cheaper than the 30 gallon tank on my pickup, which I sold this year to a friend. Muuuuuhahahaha!

Welcome to the forum Sam, Good to have you here and your right the manuals are useless they just tell you about the switches and what they do and plugs and oils and maintenance schedules. They do not mention anything about the parts that usually go south like the CDI Stator, Rectifier, Coil, Pick Trigger etc. Or need to clean and or adjust the carb and or valves if it is a 4T motor. Again good to have you on the forum and do not hesitate to ask for help if the need arises. There are a lot of good tech stuff pretty well organized and many with the Real Pictures which help a lot.
