Hey fella's I just wanted to share with you an upgrade I did on the Magnum when I first got it. I went to O'reilly's and purchased an electric fuel pump (small one made for 4 cylinder cars). I wasn't happy with the factory vac pump. I was warned not to but did so anyway. It was one of the best upgrades I did. I have consistent fuel flow across the rpm spectrum. With an adjustable fuel regulator (0-5psi) I also use it as a theft deterrent. (turn it to zero and there is no fuel flow to the carb). In addition I replaced all the fuel lines from the tank to the carb and put a fuel filter lower down on the body for easy access and replacement. The amperage required to run this little unit is minimal and in over a year of running this system I have never experienced a problem of any kind. An added bonus is that for long term storage I can easily empty the fuel tank by disconnecting a carb hose and draining the tank with the pump on.
