I know it does sound like a strange idea, but, I been wanting to do this American Loop for years and now my mother gone , I may have the opportunity. I always like trying ideas, it makes life fun ;D
I know many people have canoed the Mississippi River just do a search on; canoeing the Mississippi. I not sure anyone ever done the Loop in a canoe

From my understanding the canoe can handle the weight it says 1600/1650 pounds, and I plan on having a small gas outboard maybe 2.5-5 HP and a trolling motor, I was thinking if the scooter would sit down in it would be fairly stable, but, the canoe is 41 inches at it's widest part. So, my friends are helping me try to plan my weight, and it's distribution, along with food, radios, lights, etc., Any way, it a thought.


Just trying to plan all this. I done got to old in my opinion to do things at the spur of the moment, kinda like having a plan with some for-thought.

I am not sure where this thread is going but, I do know I am not going into the canoe business.
