He fella's let's talk front tires for the Magnum for a bit. I plan on replacing my front tire and I want to go up a size for a couple of reasons. 1) to correct the chino speedometer so that it will read correctly. 2) to provide a smoother ride 3) To elevate the front of the trike so that it equalizes ride height. Anybody change the front tire out yet and what size did you use and why. Mike I think you changed yours but with the stock size right?

Mike what manufacturer did you use? Did you change it out or take it to bike shop. I'll probably do it myself but I need to figure a way to balance the mag wheel.

I am planning to replace he rear tires with the 255's ($78 ea) and the front so I am interested in which front tire to get. A 130/70 on the front would be 1.03" greater in Diameter from stock. The 255/50 on the rear would be .77" greater in diameter. The only 130/70 I find are labeled as rear scooter tires. Would these be okay? This is the one, Pirelli Diablo Performance Rear Scooter Tire for $51.99. The width might kill me on the rears they would be 2.95" wider

Prielli SL26, looks like a good rain tire too. It is really strong walled and I paid them to install and change the speedo meter also that I ordered from Jim at Rapid Repair. It is easy to do yourself. I have not balanced it as It feels good.

Oh...the 255/50 are great that is what I got. Mine I hade to raise the rear deck 3/4 in as the hit with a passanger. I used 3/4 pvc deck material and cut and drilled to fit. Lee's was ok he didn't have to raise his??? The change of tires really made a huge difference, You will be pleased.
I just brought mine back to the house today, have decide to keep it and the Honda and use the trike just for a fun ride with the wife once in a while. My next project on it will be to make new spacers for the bolts that attach the hub to the swing arms...The material is very soft and the roller bearings have indented them and allow more movement. When I get done there will no play and a lot less vibrations

Yepper I love the 255's on my Magnum. It's like an entirely different ride now. I believe I'm going to. I'm going to also get the 70 series front tire...I found them once before but I'll have to research again.

To get a 130/70 had to go to an off brand and I didn't want to so I got the same size but wish I had got the next size up to correct the speed o readings

I found Pirelli GTS24 in 130/70 13 and Michelin Gold Std in 130/70 13 Pirelli are listed as front/rear the Michelin as front. Found them on SMALLTIRES.COM Still looking for rear cheaper than $78 each. Update 1/14 I can't find the Pirelli GTS24 on the factory site listed as being a front/rear only rear. The Michelin Gold STD is discontinued. I may just buy 2 Michelin's if I can find them.
