Yep 1,000 miles and I'm still on the original one...but it is streching out. Probably change it this summer. Mike did you buy a stainless chain? Motorcycle one? GER if you do adjust the chain lift the trike and make minor adjustments at a time (less than one turn at a time to get the tightness you want.) GER I don't have any pixs but I'll call you to talk it thru if you need me to. I'd like to see what mods you guys have done to the rear of the trike. The chain deal I have done it's just a pain and a bigger pain with the faring on but taking the faring off is a big pain.

On my 150 I just take the 4 bolts on each fender and take the whole thing off as one piece. I never take the center section off that has 5 bolts on each side(HEHE). Alleyoop

It sure is a bear to get the rear off the Magnum. Once you get a rack on that thing it sure is gonna look good. The rack look like they belong on the Magnum, makes the rear look soo much better than all that plastic. I will get some pictures posted here soon so you can get an idea what my Silver Bullet looks like now

What makes it difficult to take off? From what I can see and think there are 8 screws 4 on each side holding the fenders, 2 center top and 2 faceing out. What else holds it down? Alleyoop

16 screws to release the plastic from the frame. They are not easy to remove. 2 on top have nuts holding them the others screw into the frame. Each one has a rubber grommet and a metal sleeve. I don't think it would come off without removing the same panels as I do now with it attached to the frame. Also have to remove the wheels. If you come over I'll let you try it yourself. ;D

Ger... it is a pitta but only the 4 bolts in the cut out on the rear deck than the side bracket mounts, I think you have 4 of them I only have 2 on mine and the wheels off and pull her up and back. Al, it is nothing like your 150, wish it was would make things much easer

When I raised the rear section I had to cut the black under the plate so that I can slide the deck under it and it would not hit the black when hitting bumps

My problem is he leading edge of the faring-is bent in and will not slide past the side panel. I even shortened it but it still hits. I'm afraid to pull it because the PVC might crack.

Ger.. No matter what it is a bummer to remove. I have to still mod my swing arm bearings on the hubs and I am going to have sleeves made for the spline on the rear gear box where the sproket goes as the metal is soft. I hate to pull the rear too but have to when I do all that stuff
