It was 60 degrees out at 3:30 but the wife and I were itching for a ride. We figured what the heck and saddled up her Silver Streak and my Frankenscoot. Of course we didn't dress warm enough but it sure as hell woke us up! We went about 25 miles over a scenic mountain and were the only folks on the road for some reason. I don't know what's with the Frankenscoot but the damn thing keeps getting faster. Now I have to reach behind me and loosen the gas cap for a minute to let the vent catch up with the vacuum or it starts slowing down. We sure as hell can't have that! Rich

Come here and let me smack you. At 3:30 it was 31 here with a wind chill of 26. They said it was supposed to get up to 35 but never reached it. Sixty degrees is late April here. One Memorial Day we were at a parade in light jackets and froze. It must be nice to live in the tropics.

I second that. My Bashan motor is constantly egging me on. I roll about 43 mph all the time as a precaution against engine failure. Everytime I look down the speedo is creeping towards 50. My wife used it a couple of times last summer and she admitted to running at 55 with it on the interstate. I don't want to know how fast she was really riding.
