took her on along ride today, thats how i noticed,
was goona do it this eve, but watching the 5 kids .esp at dusk,
while trying to work
NO WAY HOSE

but she is stripped down, 1st thing in the AM

Also check if the pipe is NOT leaking where it connects to the motor. I am sure they took the pipe off to put in the Stator. Leaking where it connects to the motor will cause backfires.

Also look for a vacuum line that got knocked off. Start it, listen for hissing and the problem line or junction will present itself.
