I know they're the same but wasn't the 300 Turista a Diamo?

Yes there is a round medallion on the front of it that says diamo. My question to you is that mean good or bad?

It means very little. The Diamo Turista was just a rebadged Linhai. Linhai scooters are partly owned by Yamaha and are near the top of the heap of Chinese built scooters. You will have less trouble from it than many Chinese scooters would give you. I met someone with one and he was very happy with it.

I have talked to a guy at the coffee shop that said he has one and loves it. He had not been able to ride it much and only had a couple hundred miles on it.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Also kz1000st i was worried and thought you might be giving me some bad news about it.So for i have only put about 200 miles on it.With no problems.Iam just frustrated trying to get parts. At first people say the parts are instock then a few weeks later they will say they are still waiting for the shipment. And locvally everybody says they will have to order the parts and could take a while to get them. But iam patient and can wait..I hope to have a lot of fun with this scooter..

I am just frustrated trying to get parts. [/b][/quote] That's a common problem, luckily we have a solution for you. The banners at the top of the site are all donors to the no Google ad fund. Not all of them sell parts but the ones that do can be trusted to get you the right part at a fair price. You can also call these guys and talk to a real person who knows what they're talking about. In no particular order if you need parts I'd call Greg at Mainely Scooters, Dave at Absolutely Scooters, Mike at BPNW, Tom at KidNMe, or Scooter Elements. When you call, tell them Rich from Scooter Doc says hi.

I'm not sure I have the name right but the importer for Linhai was Sunright or a name like that. Even Cookees said they were terrible. You might try Ebay or something like that for parts. Maybe some individual has them in hand.
