hello all
i have a 2010 ice bear compellor that is making either transmission or rear differential noise.i stopped using wondering if anyone else has any noise problems. i mean this thing sounds like it is going to lock up and i dont want to ruin an thing i changed all fluids in rear and trans there where no metal chips at all. i was wondering may be there is a loose nut on a shaft in trans. already have cvt cover off and drove and the noise is defineatly not coming from there. it realy sounds like trans.this thing has only 250miles.should i take trans out and check maybe a bearing or what do you guys think
thankyou custom iron works

Check your Differential, it takes grease it has a grease nipple on it. I use full synthetic grease on mine. Also check your CASTLE NUT on the wheels grab them with your hand and see if they are loose wiggle them left and right. It could also be a wheel bearing. You are going to have to pinpoint where it is coming from. Jack the rear up and turn the wheels with your hands. If the Castle Nuts are loose that means the axle moved out a little and what your hearing is probably the HUB SPLINES on the axle shaft slipping. One more thing if it has REVERSE it could be the gears in the Tranny are not meshing good and THAT DOES NOT SOUND GOOD. Does it shudder or jump when going forward or when put in REVERSE? If it does the Reverse Cable needs to be adjusted, and it only takes a little. Also here is a break down of a compeller that Jim From Rapid Repair did a PDI on for a customer.
