does anyone now where i can get a rebuild kit for the rear differential on my 2010 ice bear compellor. like bearings gears gaskets seals and so on. the rear differential is making some very loud noises on deceleration when riding like something came loose inside or a bad gear or bearing. this trike has the rear differential that has reverse in it not in the trans.also it is not a cable adjustment because i have put lever on rear differential all the way as far as it can go for forward and it still is making some realy bad gear noises. i thought maybe there is someone that has taken one apart and found out the problem maybe a loose nut or bad bearing or a shaft that was not shimmed correctly.anyone with info would be great
ps also where i can get these parts when i need them.
thankyou iron works

I believe MIKE6736 has some experience with that one, he got replacement gears for his cause they were making a nasty noise. To get new gears and stuff you have to go through your dealer they will order them for you. I am sure he will chime in or you can PM him. Alleyoop

Yo Iron.... I thought the compellor had a different rear that the Magnum, but if the rear takes gear oil and the reverse is on the top it is most likely the the top gear. Best thing to do is have Jim order replacement gears for you be sure to get the gaskets also. I checked my first gear box and all the bearings were OK. The bad gears were the top 3 gears and the rear sprocket spline shaft was damaged were the sprocket rides, if yours is get a new shaft also or have it weld and grind. Bearings if needed can be got from local parts stores. I have not rebuilt my spare yet but looked into it and can see how the shifter gear did all the damage. I have a new set of gears from IB that are supposed to be harder than the old. I will rebuild it and install it when I can figure a better way to align and lock the rear axles section and use a chain tension-er. I think the old set up just moves too much.
