I need to say something out harden steal you never have two harden pieces meshing one or the other need to be softer. If not 1 piece or other would shear of and jam. As far as I know the spider gears are the harden side and why axles look like they do. At least in the machine shop with many gear boxes I rebuilt now axles here could have been harden but after that they return back into oven to take away being brittle to whats call a straw brown in this case who know how long it was left in. But also about this axle looks like to much grease or oil LOL LOL

Hello Alleyoop, just found this chat room and joined. Need help. Have 2013 ice bear 50cc upgraded to 80cc. Working on rebuilding diff., need procedure of brake down of diff to get sprocket off. Anything special I need to know before I start? thanks, TreeMunkey.   |

Look at axles ends you will see a dust cover pull it off you will see a snap ring. Get snap ring released and pull out axle but you may need a slide hammer mine came out easy. you my need to do both side to get your sprocket

Crwford, I've been busy, sry for taking so long to thank you for ur input. Still haven't got to the diff yet but getting close. So I should start by taking tires off, work from outside in? Dust cover, snap ring, bearing, pull axle out, then center hub free, unbolt that, then hub should come out??? Any more advise?

I had to use a slide puller if you haven't one borrow one from a parts store most have a tool program to loan tools
