Ger I am working one them, going to the hospital 2 and 3 times a week. I start the infussions for this crap got on the 6th so have many test pluss all the eye things going on. But things look much better I think. Still have not found bearings for the bolt ons on the swing arms for the Magnum but he is going to machine a sleeve on each and mount than a grease fitting and a 12mm bolt that will solve that

Getting more comfortable outside so I'll be chomping at the bit to get me some parts and give it a go.

Well..... Got a call the parts were made for the bearing replacements on the swing arms for the rear axles. They will be pressed on the arms and drilled and grease fittings installed and ready Monday. I hope to be able to get them on Wednesday and get the trike ready for the road by the weekend if all goes well and the Doc says I can start going things again.... There are now no roller bearings were arms mount to rear housing... They are all larger now 12mm and the inserts are of a hard steel with grease fittings
Will get some pictures of all the arms and the hubs befor and after mounting

So true Ger42, we can have the best in everything but if your health is bad what is the point you cannot enjoy what you have or are able to get. Mike, Take your time and do not over do it, you have plenty of time now that winter is almost here. OH WAIT!! You have summer year round not like us POLAR BEARS that we have to hibernate for around 4 months ;D When you get the pictures just email them to me and I will put them up for you on whatever thread you want mike. Wow..... I got the rear section back on the trike today, not put breaks back on the hubs yet but there is NO play at all......NONE in the rear wheels as was when stock.... What a great MOD but it cost..... Hope to get it lined up and completed enough to test ride in the morning. I got a few pictures and will have Al post them when I get time to get them from my phone

The Silver Bullet is completed now.... I still need to set the valves and adjust the carb but I can tell you all that have the 300's you need to do this MOD on the swing arms and the rear hubs. You can not find any play at all when you try to shake the rear wheels... This thing rides so much better and makes less noise and has no shaking at all at 65 MPH. I only ran her about 20 miles today as it was just so hot after working on it this morning than sunny and 82. I now have it back in the air on jacks and am double checking every thing. May pull the carb and clean and check the jets, and pump some more grease into the swing arms and hubs.
I took a few pictures from my phone I need to load to PC so Al can post them but here is a break down on what was done
Removed all 8 roller bearings on swing arm mounts and all roller bearings in the rear hubs
Had solid metal sleeves made and pressed in the swing arm mounts to trike section and all bolts are now 14mm and installed grease fittings on each sleeve, this required boring the mount ties also to 14mm (if you do this MOD have it done in brass you will save a bundle and will work fine)
On the hub side of the swing arms I replaced the roller bearings with ball bearings and no sleeve, bearings ride on 14mm bolt, no tooling on the hubs every thing pressed in and grease fittings on each hub. I think he put 8 bearings on each hub as the roller bearings are very long
I had my work done at a speed/machine shop and was over $600..... I think you could get some shop to make the sleeves from brass and press them in for around $200, or local high school machine shop, just give them one of the old roller bearings for size. As for the hubs you could press the old rollers out and than press new bearings in, Ball Bearings, and just drill and tap each prior to pressing in bearings and sleeves for grease fittings. Due to health reasons I sent mine out and paid dearly...
