You mention in the box there is gunk I bet that is the hose that comes from the VALVE COVER VENT. And if they overfilled it with OIL it blew some out. That is why I said to put a Fuel Filter on the end of it and TIE IT UP HIGH on the frame so it doesn't squirt out and get all over your motor. But that usually happens WHEN you overfill the Crankcase with oil and it builds to much pressure and it blows some oil out. Alleyoop

Once you get rid of all the EMISSION STUFF. If you ever want to put the AIR BOX back on it will be very simple NO EXTRA HOSES GOING TO IT and all those inlets where the hoses were you just plug up and just connect the AIR TUBE back on the carb. Alleyoop

You can do all that take all that stuff off and get it ready for when your items come in then all you will have to do is unhook the AIR TUBE from the Carb and take off the AIR BOX OR LEAVE IT ON for looks doesn't matter cause nothing will be hooked up to it. Alleyoop
Well it is late here I will be signing off you have enough items to take care of. I check in everyday so if you have more stuff I will see it tomorrow. Alleyoop

Alleyoop, I bought some JB weld today and had just a few more questions. Should i seal something over the metal nipple on that metal box that goes right to the exhaust, put JB weld around the nipple hole and over it, or actually try and fill the hole with it? Lastly the JB weld says it can withstand temperatures up to 550 degrees fahrenheit. Do you think that is enough or do you think that metal box will get hotter than that because it is connected to the exhaust?

GREAT!! take the hose off the metal box and fill the hole, it will be find. I have used that stuff right on the PIPE itself and it holds so not to worry about the heat. Alleyoop

Perfect! Is their a good applicator to use? The nipple is pretty small and I am not going to be able to fill it up a lot.

No, the way you do it is get a piece of cardboard or anything really and squeeze a little from BOTH tube just enough for what you will need. Then you have to mix it them together so get a nail or anything and mix the two on the cardboard once nicely mixed then just put it in the hole. It will be ready in 24 hours or so it will say on the package or tube how long it takes to harden. Alleyoop

Put the jb weld on yesterday and now it works great! Sealed the nipple perfectly and has plugged the vacuum, and now no more charcoal or emissions canisters! Thanks Alleyoop! Now just waiting for the new air filter, fuel lines, and e hopefully right size main jet to put in my new carb to install everything on my scooter
