Had a long weekend. I have work right after school tomorrow so on tuesday i should have a video. Do you want it to showthe engine revving. Warmed up or with the engine cold?

Yea i put a lot on it. Should i probably clean it and then re apply just a little oil? Cause yes the uni is faded, but i did ring it out to make sure and no oil came dripping off. I did set the air fuel so the idle was the highest while warm also.

Hey John, contrary to what my name on hear say, I am Justin. I have heard good things about your service and parts and will be sending you a PM about some things I am interested in. I am not super experienced as I will be modding/upgrading my first scooter but I definitely want to try. And with your and the rest of the forums help I think I can do it

Ok alleyoop with the filter newly oiled it is having problem starting without the need to pull the throttle at all. I even upped the idle speed screw and it didnt help unless i upped the idle so high that it would make my scooter really wanna try to move. The engines rpms still get really low after i rev the engine twice but not quite to the same extent but it is still there.

Tomorrow after i get out of school i will certainly do that for you. I got the filter oil for my uni filter and I took it off the carb and cleaned it and am letting it dry overnight. In the morning I will apply the oil to it and re adjust the air fuel ratio screw and idle screw for whatever changes the newly added filter oil bring. After i get out of class i will make sure to get video so you can hopefully be able to tell what is going on. Who knows maybe the new oil on the filter will fix it

Ok alleyoop i made the mixture a little leaner and upped the idle speed and it starts fine, except when i rev the throttle twice the rpms go wayy down before going back to normal still. Also if i am cruising at 30 MPH and come to a stop at a stop sign the rpms are really low when the scooter finally comes to a stop, and then they pick back up to normal after a short while. Any new ideas?

Also in order to get the front fender off I am going to need to remove the wheel. I am nervous about doing this because i am afraid that i will end up messing up the brakes and or the speedometer hub. Also i don't have a torque wrench and don't know if it is needed to properly put it back together. Attachments:

So that screw holds down the panel that is over that gas tank cap and it is at such an angle i am not sure i can unscrew it because it os so close to the gas tank. I can't seem to fit a screw driver close enough to get it out. Attachments:

Went to the doctors. They said I hyper extended my shoulder when i was skidding and damaged my tendon and muscle a little bit. They said it should start to get better by monday and should be all healed in a little over a week. So that is good. i didn't notice it at the time but my mirror is all scratched up. Anyone know good universal mirrors i could buy to replace them?

Jct842 thanks for those videos! I will give them a look when i get to a computer, I'm using my ipad right now. Bashan, thanks for your concern! I will talk to some local bike shops to maybe get some estimates. One problem is that i can't get one of the side panels off due to haveing the locking mechanism for the under seat storage in it. Do you think they wouldn't mind painting the scooter with the panels on?

Thanks Alleyoop, I appreciate it! I a, happy that she is still running fine though. She faired better then I did! By any chance do you know how much it would cost for a paint job on a scooter? Or if car/auto paint places would paint her or would i need to go to a specialty scooter paint shop. I could attempt it myself but wouldn't know where to start.
