So fellow scooterist January will be 2 years I have owned my two chinese scooters . Well it has been a real roller coaster finding parts learning the quirks . The major frustration and the rewards to go with it . One of the problems with getting parts that differs from the auto world is, the vendors selling parts just don't know what they are selling . The thought about getting tech help to trouble shoot problems . Well i have decided to chip at this problem . Over the last 2 months I have been building and inventory and very carefully been inspecting and testing every single item . Just today I tested 20 CDI's and 20 coils . I bought larger diameter variators , Keihin carbs, 11pole stators, 7pin regulators, assorted LED's . I know i'm no rocket scientist , however I have a pretty good idea about scooters (thanks to this fourm) and electrical . I don't think there is a vendor out there that is testing and inspecting every item . For the most part no one is checking parts before shipping . How many of you guys and gals have ordered parts and they were defective when delivered . If any of you guys and gals are interested in the items I have tested and inspected . Please reach out to me for a quote . There are many other items that I do not have that I can get just ask. Below are some pics of the available parts. Call the number in my signature for ordering parts. You can go to my Photobucket and view larger pictures by clicking the link: These are just some of my parts, call for further info: www.testedscooterparts.com/John

You should take pictures of the parts so people would know what they are getting, Like CDIs wireing on some are different etc.. AS for prices I would leave that to PMing you for the hit. Alleyoop

John. Glad to see it progressing. I wonder if your primary focus's are: mods and upgrades or repairs? Gy6 150 and or 50? Seems you know electrical. That is a hole you might consider specializing on for awhile. First, try to minimize solving individual peoples problems.(of course don't be to apparent with that) Instead find or build a good book or cd or DVD to teach electrics and electrical trouble shooting. Of find someone to do it with a little help from you. Get Sprocket to help. Teach people to use a VOM. Stock and sell the book/or whatever. Stock and sell the VOM (your brand) (get harbor freight to supply you)
Make up an upgrade kit with instructions using your lable). How to convert to 11pole. Make up a kit and sell it Include what is needed to provide spark. Again , perhaps a joint venture with Sprocket. Push your suppliers to guarantee. Charge a little more and guarantee. (See what happened to Hyundai. From junk to setting and industry standard with nothing more than 100,000 guarantee and a little price increase.
Enough of my secrets
Do what you do best. Take charge and manage and supervise.
Good luck cheers Welcome to business. lefty2

John recently read I had a muffler 'problem'. He contacted me with a solution that says a lot about his industry knowledge. He shipped me a great muffler that is a duplicate, but complete, of the one I have very quickly. My scoot will be quiet again!!!!
He also had hardware to help me keep my scoot in repair. I have dropped specialized fasteners only to have them bounce and roll into some alternate reality or dimension. Hardware that can't be replaced at the local hardware store. I bought a spare supply of fasteners that I needed for less than a few 'standard' type fasteners from the hardware store would have cost.
Everything came shipped to my door so I did not have to waste my time and make a $$ trip to the local store. Nobody thinks to add the cost of running to the local store to the cost of an item. It isn't just what gas costs, there is a whole list of hidden costs. Now I won't need two wrenches to remove something due to an odd replacement fastener.
I am extremely happy and I know where I will go for parts now!
Thanks for the great service and your invaluable knowledge John.

Go back and reread what I said......"If you pay extra parts can be shipped over night!" and thats very expensive, but if you have to have them thats what you do.

A pleasure to do business with. I was stuck 281 miles from home and I found john on this site. I had problems finding a "center taped 8 pole stator" also known I think as a half wave stator. Several shops around me had never seen one and no one could get it. John suggested that I convert to an 11 pole 3 phase since a was running an GPS also. Man he was there for me all the way. With his tech support the conversion was painless. As I said a pleasure! We will do business agian.
