Although alleyoop, can you help diagnose this part of the problem? When i hit the ignition it starts to turn but won't start unless i give it gas, and then once it is started and i let go of the throttle the engine dies. I have to hold the throttle and rev it for a good while until it can succesfully idle by itself. Right now i have the #80 main jet and no air filter on. So do you think you know what could be causing this specific part of the problem?

No, sadly the jet that came with the carb was not marked.....although when i looked rough them the jet that came with the carb seemed to have a nigger whole, although that could just be an optical illusion. Also how do i lower said needle? I just really do 't like messing with it toomuch because it is my only mode of transportation and i just want it running top notch without problems is all

ok good to know. So do you believe than that with the uni my top speed on flat ground should go back to what it used to be with this #80 main jet i have in now?

Alright i took the whole air box off so there is no filter and adjusted the air fuel and the throttle response is good. I took it for a ride but now its top speed is only 30 on flat ground where it used to be 40

Because just as a test i took the box filter out to get more air flow but it still bogged down some.

Ok, thanks alleyoop! I appreciate the help! If it is bogging down this much don't you think it will still bog down a good amount even with the uni filter?

Took it for another run, was even worse slower and jerkier, and full throttle seemed to not even do anything basicly. Kept it going 20 tops

Alleyoop this is a picture of the new lines in and the old carb put back in. The scooter works with the old carb but not the new new one. Maybe i didnt crank it enough when i put the new one on?
