OK so on my new jonway rock thunder I bought a carb, orange cdi, orange coil, cone air filter, and NGK iridium plug....from tvnacman on this forum ....all I can say is wow I paid Friday night received Monday afternoon and you cannot believe the improvement over the stock carb I'm blown away at the responsiveness....took it on a quick run and GPS verified 61mph in a very short distance too much traffic to go faster but there was still some left

Looks neat BUT the hose from the Valve cover HAS TO VENT if not it will BUILD to much pressure in the Crankcase and may blow gaskets and seals. Alleyoop

HAHAHA, OH ok it looked like it was sealed. But have that end pointing up high so if it does squirt oil it will not drip out and get all over the place. I like the matching color ;D Alleyoop

I did have a question for ya my new scooter has some crazy stuff going on under that seat...I put on that cone filter so I took off thea air box makes the scooter look sportier in my opinion and even on both sides.....but I have a pcv and egr.... I think the pcv hose is fine I don't feel any suction or blowing from it even driving....but there is what john believes is an egr hose its actually a silver box on the bottom of my scooter that is welded right to the exhaust manifold from that a 1/2" hose comes off then splits at a T one hose from that goes to the old air box the other to the black pcv What should I do to that hose right now its just pointed right at the ground about an inch below the engine

You got it my friend for 10.00 bucks for the EGR cover plate or you can make your own and you can eliminate more stuff and make the engine bay less cluttered and less possible problems. Just block off the vacuum hose at its ORGIN as well as where the hose connects IF IT connects to the AIR BOX or the Tubing going to the carb. If it also goes to a canister you can pitch that as well throw everything in the garbage Alleyoop
