My first thought was a Znen Phoenix 16" wheeled job but the forks look very Italian. What is it? Aprilia, Piaggio?

It's a 2007 bv250. I actually went to the dealer just to window shop but he came down to a price I could afford so I got it. It's been too cold to ride so I've only did all the checks and adjustments that need to be done to any new scoot. Except for a few scratches on the right its in great shape.

Piaggio bv 250. I picked it up for the same price the new china 250's are sellling for so I figured why not. I still have the Hyosung gv250 I picked up last year but my son has it to get to and from school. Papa needs a ride now that spring is almost here.

Sure wish there was a decent scooter dealer in the area around here. I think if I was window shopping I would ride the majesty there just for kicks. Now that I got it running like it should have been when I bought it I might have a hard time trading it off though. I need to buy tires for it again and I just got the insurance bill for 3 scooters. john

What I'd like to know is how it works on an interstate? There was a blogger with one, he's disappeared lately, in PA and he only used his BV 250 for everyday short haul stuff. He professed not having confidence in it as a freeway machine. Now that someone who knows how to ride has one I'd like to know the truth.

I think it will do fine on the interstate. I've only put 50 miles on it so far since its been so cold but I did take it out on I95. You wont be out in the pasing lane but it handles well at hwy speeds. Speedo tops at 90 mph but its way off. It was probably around 75 or so. Very solid and confidence inspiring scoot. You don't get blown around too bad and you're sitting in a little air bubble the way it's designed. I plan to ride it downn to NC in April so I'll give an update on how it does after that ride. 500+ miles each way.
