Need Help!!!!

I recently bought a 2008 Roketta Scooter! 150cc.

First problem: electric start won't work, so I use kick start. Lately, I can't get the kick start to go. After 10 times of trying or so, it will finally start, but only if I am holding the throttle back. Should it be that much of a problem?

Second problem: I was driving and as I tried to accelerate it, it just popped and stopped accelerating.

I need help for this is how I get to and from work and school. I need the least expensive way to fix, but also way that will fix it for a good amount of time at least!

When you say POPPED was it the motor making popping sounds or somthing else. Does the motor start and run but does not move?

When I say popped, the throttle itself stopped pulling back. It will run as far as I know, but gets no acceleration.

sounds like you may need a new thottle cable does the grip turn freely or does it sping back put the bike on the center stand start it does the rear wheel spin when giving gas and does the engine rev up when given gas it could also be the belt has broken let us know what happens with these test and that will help to pin point the problem

Yep, sounds like the throttle cable broke. Check by the Throttle Control Wheel on the Carb and twist the throttle grip and see if the Throttle Control Wheel Turns if it doesn't the cable is broke.

I had a friend of mine look at it! He said that a piece is broken near the throttle. Where can you buy Roketta 2009 150cc pieces? Thanks!
