I though about adding a "vent" with rubber boot in to the plastic "bucket" so it can relieve the heat. I thought about that too; maybe drilling a couple small holes on the bottom portion so it would still keep water out but let some of the heat escape. Wonder if that would be bad; they must have it semi-air-tight for a reason.

I kept the 60w in to see what would happen. Today, I went out to start the scoot and it was a little slow to turn over, but she started. I noticed the light was not on all all, so I took it out and rode for a while to recharge the battery.
The bulb had a weird foggy look on the inside?
