WHOOO! WHOooo! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Cracka happy! If I was a flightless pengiun, I'll be all airborn but it would sound terrible like old people clapping hands while falling down stairs. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO@@@@@ She runs again!!!!! So it was the red wire, because once I finally tore it apart and was testing the red wire thinking, "Obviously it's not this; I'm slamming it together and it won't run," during that short amount of time, my CDI wasn't plugged in right as John noted. My next six children will be named John Alleyoop Bashan Kierstead! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!

Already took it out ghost hunting; half assembled Running great; throttle sticking open but I expected it because when I put the carb back in, I didn't seat the end of the throttle cable perfectly. I know most of you guys get it; I could drive anywhere. I sold my Explorer but I could drive my g/fs wherever. There's just no joy in it. Put me on a little 49cc Scoot and I'm freakin' 8 years old in every way. I was ACTUALLY getting depressed after only being down for about 3 days. So, seriously, thank you Bashan, terrilee, John, Alleyoop, and buford and if I missed anybody, I'm sorry. Technically I have to give the biggest nod to Bashan for pointing me back to the red wire/stator area (And Scooterdoc's diagram/troubleshooting list) after Bashan and buford both insisted on spark issues, which I would never have checked again since they were sparking yesterday. I wasn't thinking along those lines... I was three inches away from ordering a bbc and hoping for the best. Anyway, I wanna give back. I do give back on the other forum when I can but this forum... I don't know--you guys just seem crisper in your troubleshooting efforts. So, should I create a full narrative of what I did right and wrong with this problem and post it as some type of example of how one can end up chasing a wild goose while troubleshooting? Awesome guys. Now all I have to do is get everything secured again and re-adjust idle and a/f.

if you were getting depressed after 3 days of the scooter being down . You need a moderate amount of spare parts . Coil, CDI ,spark plug , oil filter cap , starter solinoid , intake manifold , exaust gasket , studs and nuts .
The above parts have ko ed most of us for a week !!! anybody agree ?

John I believe that. One thing I know I need is screws and bolts; I've lost some over time. That and some type of chart that shows exactly which screws/bolts go where or at least the size of them. I have yet to find that in the 6 months or so I've been looking. So, now, I've occasionally used screws too big for some holes or plastic screws where metal screws should go, which hasn't presented a functional problem (yet) but bugs me. I will start stocking up on those things you mentioned but it'll be a slow process for me.

Its good to have extra cdi's coils and even an extra carb, I have boxes of parts may be overkill though.
