Ok guys so its up and running well now its not... but it was. so i replaced my head cyl and set the timing right and she started up fine rode her around for a while.
i noticed that there was some boggin in the throttle. when i got past like 1/4th it would stop then spurt hellla it seemed like the flow from the pilot jet to the main jet was not smooth.. i tried ajusting the fuel scew by turning it out quite a bit. this made the transition from the pilot to the main more smooth and when i opened up the throttle it actually ran fine which it didnt before i adjusted the fuel screw. so i think im not running lean anymore but u guys tell me.
so now this is where the problem stands. i got that thing sitting in a praking lot be couse it will not start. i tried to start it but it sounds like the starter jsut hangs after me trying to kick it over. click click click hrrrrrt..... thats how it goes when i push that starter button. kicker is broken for now so cant test it that way.
any thought on what i should do? mabye a bigger pilot and main jet? the only air box mod i did was take off the top part of the air box to allow more flow in. that air box had 3 layers it seemed to i took off the 2 outer layers to that only one air filter was protecting it.
the only jet mod i did was upgrade to a 125 main jet i believe any recommendations how to get my scoter running find again?
when i charge the batt tonihgt im going to head back there tomorrow and try adjusting the fuel screw to see if that works but the scooter seem to run the best when the fuel screw was turned almost all the way out. like i reved it a couple times and the fuel screw came out once hah.
also another question what do people mean when they say "turn it by 2 1/2 turns?" does that mean 2 ful rotations or 2, 1/8 turns?
by the way i live in washington its very cold here like now like usually 30-40 degrees right now.
