Just remember when you line it up on the T that is tdc, BUT when you line up the cam you will find that the pointer is now just before the T it advanced it a little. They never fire right at top dead center they always fire just before top did center.
Actually a motor makes more power if you get it to fire just as the crank starts the down stroke, but that is very hard on the crank bearing. Alleyoop
