My Honda 110cc tops out at about 52 mph. At a certain rpm it limits it from going any faster.
First question: Is this the cdi?
I don't want to burn the little thing up, but I would like to get a liitle more mph's out of this scoot.
Second question: is there still some rpm's to be had or is it set at its limit for this scoot?
Third question: if there is some room to gain some rpm's, and it is the cdi...does anyone know what kind I should buy for the Honda 110cc 2010?

Look for some wires going into your CVT some have a limiter sensor to limit the speed of the crank rotation.
Also what are the RPMS at 52mph? Alleyoop

If it cuts out then you do have a limiter, either the sensor or the CDI. Alleyoop

Ok, Alley...if it turns out to be the cdi do you have any suggestions on which kind to get?
When I got the crate motor for my Chinese 150cc it came with a few extras including a cdi. Do you think this would work? I haven't looked at the wiring at this point.

Take a picture of your CDI I am sure it is not your regular GY6 CDI it is probably a ONE PLUG 4 or 5 pin CDI. Alleyoop

There were no wires going to the CVT. Its EFI so I guess I don't have a cdi, I have an ecu?? I'm going to try and find a pic of it online.

The ECU only controls the AIR AND FUEL for the EFI. You still have a CDI and it most likely is a DC CDI. So find it and take a picture of the plug and wires. Alleyoop
