Wow, filled the Magnum today 2.2 gal showing 86 miles since last gas. That is just under 40 mpg...I leaned her out so may get back up to 50 or 54mpg.

New to Trikes, but mine's only getting about 40 mpg. Same 150 Icebear trike. How to thin mixture? Also engine kicks back sometimes and jams the starter clutch. Like timing is too far advanced. What to do? Thanks Malcolm

Either your running really rich or you dropping gas out of someplace.

Turn the fuel ratio mixture screw CLOCKWISE to Lean it out. But you want to adjust it right so go follow this procedure.

For the KICKBACKS do you have a performance CDI on there?

Wow.....a 150cc at only 40 mpg.... Yes turn the fuel mixture in on that for sure but I would think there is another problem too. It is a much smaller and lighter trike than my 300

Magoo is getting older... But Not Dead Yet... My problem was that when I parked for lunch that day at the Yatch Club some older guy with a Morphous parked in my space. I think he drained some of my gas out.... There are a lot of them things here in Florida around the beaches and all. They will park and walk over and check even my Honda Reflex out, but everyone checks out the Trike.

gee we are all playing with the carb today . I had put a pod filter on my scooter a while ago . It was not starting too well cold , then when I put the proformance exaust on it got worse . it would take like six to ten times to get it to start , I was thinking low vacuume . I took a shot in the dark and changed the pilot jet from stock 35 to 40 . I had not started the scooter in a few days , I turned the carb over and replaced the jet , put it back together . It started on the first try and stayed running . I did get a pop from the exaust , but I will take that as the bowl was not full because it was just opened . I made an a/f adjustment lowered the idle down a touch seems good . Lets see How it will be in the morning .

Any comments guys ?

John... Keep us posted on how she starts in the AM. I am not much at the carb and vac stuff, get most of my info here and from the Rabbit...

That Carrot Juice is GREAT when its SPIKED, gets my old brain rocking and rolling up there(HEHE).

John if it POPS it is RICH just so you know, so if it keeps on making Popping sounds go down to a #38.
