It already looks outdated if you ask me, not a nice looking scooter in my opinion. Plus with that price they are nuts it will not last long.
You can get a BRAND NEW 650 Suzuki Executive out the door for less that, or a brand new 400 for 2500-3000 less. Alleyoop

10K for a vespa?? shyet!! well lets see.. is it fuel injected like my morph?, does it have a TCI ignition like my morph? does it have an ECU like my morph? does the engine works with counter balance like my morph? does it have a catalytic converter like my morph? radiator? digital display? Hydraulic disc brake front and rear, system error code sensors?DOHC 4valves? etc,etc....if not, then it's not worth 10 Grand!! the quality is not even close to my morph. That pricey vespa is just going to eat my morph's dust, seriously,i'm not kidding. nope, not a good buy! not recommended. Vespa? yawk....it's so bada bing bada boom!!! my morphous will only kneel before a BMW Scooter, nothing else!!! www.google.com/search?q=bmw+scooter&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=JNBwUffGOqHjiALBqoHIDg&sqi=2&ved=0CC4QsAQ&biw=1374&bih=783

It is very cool looking:
But i don't care if it's nuclear powered, it's still not worth 10K!

what???!!! a chinese morphous scooter???!!! and its priced $3,378?? shyet nobody in their right mind will buy that, they'll rather buy the genuine yamaha for less than 3grand. thats what im saying, if i have the money and serious about scootering ill buy the genuine (non disposable)scooter. given the choice, id rather, wait, save more money and get the $10k beamer. and can you imagine that shyet Vespa 150 above is priced $10k same price as the BMW scooter, which one you choose to buy? but yah i agree, with these high rising prices of the yamaha, suzuki etc , people resort in buying chinese shyets!!they dont know that yes they saved some money but the HEADACHE that comes with the scooter when "fixing" time comes is notorious!! one part breaks after the other. haaaay!!!

www.scooterdepot.us/gas-motor-scooters-300cc-gas-moped-d300e.htmlMaybe Luke, but you can still buy a NEW Chinese Morphous. www.yamahamotorsports.com/content/120/yamaha_sport_scooter_home.aspxYamaha seems to have dropped the Morphous. Hmmmm. The Majesty, Zuma and Vino seem to still be here with updates but the Morphous?? www.motorscooterguide.net/Yamaha/Morphous/Morphous.htmlAh, I see. So your Morph is just a Japanese Fashion. A clear attempt to be another Helix. Let's see how it made out? For 2006, Yamaha stepped in with the Morphous to push the ‘long and low’ concept beyond where Honda left off. Like the Helix, Yamaha equipped this scooter with an actual trunk. Yamaha even gave this scooter a similar digital gauge setup. Yamaha did one heck of a job with this scooter, which its too bad this niche scooter only lasted three years on the USA market. It lasted just one year (2007) in Canada. Maybe it was just too futuristic....Thanks Dan. Thank Heavens the Chinese are taking up the slack for short Morphous sales. Maybe this time it will sell, for $3500, instead of $5200.

But I do agree with this, in part. This scooter comes with a Linhai Yamaha engine. As you know JR has no end of trouble with his. Overheating (so he added extra tubing and a fan), electrical plugs falling off the CDI and JR is the leading authority on the Linhai Yamaha. Even he won't wander far from home on it. Better to buy a used Morph than a Linhai clone, huh Luke?

exactly kz, im sure jr has been shaking his head since he had that linhai bull.!! i remember years back he posted some water or oil cooler for the scooter made out of copper tubings the one used for bathrooms. i think made it work. he even posted pictures of it. he is very genius, thats what i missed about JR, not until he banned me left and right. LOL.. but im happy now, knowing that he experience the chinese scooter jinx himself, he is now a living witness of how chino scoots are.. now i can sleep well..

Not taking sides in this but I do love the looks of the Yamaha Morpheous, I love the low wide stance and the retro kind of look. Maybe one of these days I'll get a chance to ride one or even buy one. Nothing and I mean nothing can be as bad as the nightmare that I had with my 300cc Sunny roadrunner, service and quality and manufacturer help has been atrocious, less than 1000 miles on it and I still can't a broke major part for it. the cost with shop pdi and new tires $5,900.00 all a big waste, unless I can get someone to FAB me a new part. I should have bought a used morpheous or any thing else. I'll always be carefull when buying anything Chinese again.

I'm really sorry that you're having so much trouble with the scoot. The people at Sunny have a long history of doing this. Names like SunL, Massimo and others have been major disasters. They spec every cheap part they can, sell from a glitzy website and lure people in with tempting promises that disappear like smoke in a high wind. It's a shame you were snared in their web. Maybe somebody reputable will eventually import the model and you can get parts without delay.
