Hey friends, I have given up hope that Sunny motor sports will ever send me a (NEW IMPROVED) motor mount for my rev trike, so I've found a shop that said they can most definately fix the old one with brass or steel bushings and it would effect the ride and be more stable. I've got my fingers crossed that these people know what they're doing. If it works I'll post pics and do a performance follow up. I figure that most of the Ice Bear owners have had to do mods on their bikes to keep them up, and they do a darned good job, I bought my bike to ride and if that meanes modding the hell out of it , So be it.
AND since the warranty is not worth the paper its written on... I'm gonna make that bioch my very own and not worry about changing a part or parts. It might take me awhile but I bought it to ride not just look at. IF I get the motor mount fixed, then I'm gonna think about installing a better cooling fan and exhaust because the ones that come with it are poo. this is gonna be fun because I've never been able to experiment wit a close to 6 grand bike before. my wife says tear the hell out of it if you want, it's yours.

Yes, by all means have them do it they do this all the time on old cars. And it will be much better than ORIGINAL and more stable to boot.
If you can find a shop that works on hotrods that is even better, they build them from the ground up if they have to.
I am lucky I have a HotRod Shop a mile from me and they are really nice. They built my adjustable Rear Fender holders and made them adjustable, they built my 1 1/4 header pipe and lined up my Suppertrapp muffler and welded the bracket to bolt it on the frame.
They built the WHEELCHAIR CARRIER for one of the old Trikers on here that I had built for him and used my trike as the setup. Alleyoop

Hey, good to hear from ya Daddue! ;D That sounds like the best way to go...same part=same result. New/better part=better handling and peace of mind. Keep us informed and also remember that wheel alignment is key-ALL wheels need to be parallel!

The shop owner called me in yesterday to show me exactly what he's gonna do with the motor mount\stabilizer arm . and after I get the bike up running,I'll drive it there and get the exhaust redone. I't shouldn't be to long on the motor mount then we'll see.

Hey , new2scootin , Well , there's been another death in the family this week (brother in law) and I have'nt had time to fiddle with stuff yet. I am most definately gonna give it a shot with the new machine shop bushings. I'll post reports on how they are holding up and such. I'm just skeptical about it staying fixed without new areas and problems arrising , if you know what I mean. I am however seriously thinking about turning it into a regular 2 wheeler if I could get some insight into what it might take to do so. I might even have another front end grafted to it. kind of a cut and paste. Even if I ruin it , it would be better that having a bike you can only ride 800 mi. a year.
