So I finally check my pump like ive been told awhile ago, and it leaks gas out of the vaccum port. Engine dies when revved, but when unplugged from pump and plugged by hand it runs strong.
Anyway to temp fix this untill a new one comes in?

Ive established that already. I was asking if there was a way to do a quick fix on the current one.

The only TEMP fix so the motor will run good is just take the petcock off and have a hose the fuel hose from the gas tank to the FUEL FILTER and from the FUEL FILTER to the CARB. BUT IF the GAS TANK is LOWER than the CARB then you have a FUEL PUMP and you need a FUEL PUMP to push it up to the CARB. BUT if your fuel tank is ABOVE the CARB then you can do it becaue it is a PETCOCK and NOT a FUEL PUMP. Alleyoop
